Everyone is welcome, the only issue is, I won’t allow anyone to post rubbish on my blog in the name of commenting. The worst a hater can do is to post his anger and resentment about my blog on his own blog.
I attempted visiting some blogs today, I was shocked to be confronted with the following error message
“This blog is open to invited readers only
http://xxxxxx.blogspot.com/
It doesn't look like you have been invited to read this blog. If you think this is a mistake, you might want to contact the blog author and request an invitation.
Meanwhile, I have visited the same blogs days before without invitation. It is interesting to note that some of these blogs belong to the Entrecard System. I guess, Graham will need to look into this.

I've run across a few of these too. Maybe it's a blogger problem. Or maybe the people decided they don't like having that many people read their blogs?
No idea....
that seems a little strange. I guess if some people put up posts they don't want others to read, they can put up an invitation only, but why they would do it for their whole blog, I don't know.

it's a glitch on google's end.
Sometimes I do that to my blog because I'm updating its design, changing templates, moving widgets around etc, and I don't want visitors dropping in at that moment to see something odd going on. I do it only for an hour, at the most.
it's not a google glitch, it's the blog owner switching permission to view to Private.
@Deb
Thanks for educating us all. Now we have a better understanding of what is going on in those blogs.
Throughly, knowledge is power!
I can't seem to find an e-mail for you. I would love to speak with you further about checking out a site that I
created. Maybe we could trade links. Please feel free to e-mail me to discuss.
Thanks.

I am in the process of redesigning my blog, but I was reluctant to luck people out simply because i was redesigning it.I guess the content of the blog is too private for general viewing, you know,i have had to visit such blogs, they do not have adult content, just personal family details etc Moreover, such blogs are not created to generate revenues or whatever,so traffic don't matter.
I agree with you why would you put your blog on Entrecard and then have it appear as an invitation only? I like you all but beg people to view my blog. It may not be much but it is my blog and I love it.
