Nine Mistakes to avoid as you await year 2008

The year 2007 is rounding up. Hearts are yearning for the new year. Unnecessary worries and anxiety can ruin the fun of this season, so here I want to share with you nine mistakes you must avoid.

1. Remorse over yesterday's failure.
2. Anxiety over today's problems.
3. Worry over tomorrow's uncertainty.
4. Procrastination with one's present duty.
5. Resentment of another's success.
6. Criticism of a neighbor's imperfections.
7. Impatience with youth's imperfection.
8. Skepticism of our nation's future.
9. Unbelief in God's providence.

If you avoid this, your mind will be free and be more receptive to instructions from the Lord. Shalom.

Hi Brotee,

I'll venture a 10th item to your post: #10. Intolerance of old people's grumpiness, forgetfulness, or incontinence.

How's that? Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you. Thanks for the visit.
